There are some good songs of her's . I like her first cd. She's awesome in that she writes as well as performs.

I've been a huge fan of Alicia Keys ever since she came out. She is extremely talented. I luv the song No One.

Loved the first two albums as well as the live one. Her third studio album has yet to grow on me. It feels like she might have got a little bit too adventurous, maybe too crazy with all that creative energy, I'm not really sure. I'm definitely a fan of her more mainstream sounding stuff. And what happened to her vocal sound? It's not nearly as polished as it once was. I'm not hating or anything, and the respect is most certainly still there. In modern music, especially hip-hop and R&B, it's really the producers/song writers that make the music what it is. Just my two cents.
lol Chris. I completely agree with you. Loved the first 2 albums but I'm still not sure about the 3rd one. It seems to me that her voice is steadily more raspier and not as smooth as it once was. Does she smoke I wonder? It's kind of funny. I saw her perform "No One" at the American Music Awards and she sounded much better live than on her cd. But I do like the song even though I suck at singing it. lol I think it's the style of the song and how she sings it which makes it hard to sing well to. Sort of like how not many people should sing Rihanna's music because her voice is so distinctive and her songs don't sound as good with anyone but Rihanna singing it. But yeah. Yay to Miss Keys!

Yes, I listened to the song. I guess I forgot to mention that. I've also heard it before and agree with everyone else. I mean, it's a good song and all, but she does sound a little rasppier. I do like her, I like her older stuff better though I think. I love her fallin' album, it has some awesome stuff on it..she's really deep and I like her lyrics.
